REGIONAL MEDICAL LIAISON OPERATIONS MANAGER
CONTEXT
- Is a member of the International Scientific Affairs department in Zug, Switzerland
- Reports to International RML Head Oncology
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversees, manages and coordinates all operational aspects of ongoing RML activities and projects in the international region
- Manage all aspects of RML project(s): planning, implementation, monitoring, logistics, operational issues, tracking, completion, follow-up, related presentations.
- Manage competing timelines and prioritize critical tasks. Establish and achieves project standards for work quality and quantity.
- Supporting the RML leadership in development of annual budgets, business and goal planning fostering communication for effective planning across therapeutic areas .
- Assist in technical, financial, and organizational issues by researching issues, providing recommendations and maintaining document archives.
- Provides project updates to SA Lead and RML Lead, and if needed in any other forums
- Collects and integrate data obtained from the Int'l affiliates into the respective databases and management tools.
- Coordinates communication with the Med Leaders and RML Heads in the affiliates
- Tracks data from the RML Heads in the affiliates regarding KOL, trials and other Medical activities.
- Coordinate communication with vendors and agencies
QUALIFICATIONS
- Masters Degree or the equivalent in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field
- MBA or PhD would be an advantage
EXPERIENCE
- Typically 4+ years related experience with at least 2 years of experience in lead project management role or Scientific Affairs role .
- Project management in Consultant company would be a plus
- Project manager in Pharmaceutical industry would be a plus
KNOWLEDGE
- Perfect computer skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, Power Point and Microsoft project)
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Experience in cross-functional teams without direct line authority
- Medical/Scientific knowledge is a plus
- Knowledge of Clinical projects is a plus
- Understanding of RML role and processes
