Hauptaufgaben: We are currently seeking at our Headquarters in Basel a Global Technical Manager - L&G Projects.

Your main responsibilities in this role include:
• To lead specific projects in collaboration with the Global Technical Managers (e.g. from ornamentals, turf, landscape, consumers, vector control). This leadership will be around leading the project within Technical Management, but can also become overall trans-funtional leadership.
• To set up the necessary glasshouse and field trial programs with countries, research and external R&D organisations (contract research organisations, universities, consultants) and make sure data are used well to expedite project development.
• To support pre-launch, launch and growth of sales of our new products and make sure that the technical competitive information is available to position the new products in the market accordingly.
Anforderungen: The ideal Candidate has the following knowledge:
- Formal training in a relevant agricultural or biological subject (Ph.D. preferred).
- Field trials background and understanding of biological experiments and trial design.
- Project management experience
- Excellent people skills as the job holder need to work successfully with colleagues in different functions at the Headquarters, regions and countries.
- Leadership combined with the ability to manage projects with an emphasis on results-orientation
- Excellent English knowledge (spoken and written).
