Financial Analysis Manager / 3-12837

Responsibilities

Working with the European Finance Director and the Director, Finance & Strategy, you will be responsible for partnering with operational line managers to examine financial performance, investigate opportunities for profit enhancement, and to recommend actions that promote improved financial results. You will lead the preparation and presentation of quarterly budgets and business plans and work with the operational management team, other European finance staff, and Corporate Finance to coordinate budget timelines and submission activities. Apart from this you will identify and lead strategic decision analysis projects (e.g., facility investments, profitability analyses) to drive value. You will work with business unit managers to identify and develop key (non)-financial performance metrics that accurately reflect ongoing business efficiency and that aid in predicting future performance.
In addition, you are responsible for developing and maintaining partner relationships with leadership by providing decision support through adequate and timely information. You will prepare, analyze, and present monthly financial results.

Profile/Qualifications

We are looking for a professional with a degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA degree in Finance or related field is desirable) and at least 5 years experience in budgeting, reporting and analysis, with strong quantitative and problem solving skills. Additional requirements are: management experience and experience in working with and supporting senior management. Experience in Life Sciences would be an asset. Strong written and verbal communication skills in German and English as well as good knowledge of MS Office applications are required. JDE knowledge would be a plus.
